My Baby Is Crying
…and I’m just laying here.
I’ve been super sick the past few days, like literally in the ER most of Thursday for dehydration and a high fever. So one of my kids is napping (good girl!) but the baby has decided not to nap.
Sigh, Mama really needed a nap today, too. That might be one of the hardest parts of being a stay at home mom. When I worked at my company, if I was tired, I took it easy. Even though I had to meet deadlines, take meetings, and get through paperwork, I could take a few minutes for myself. At home with the kids, I do not really have that option all the time. Sure, sometimes it works out that I get a break, but my kids have a knack for knowing when the other is napping, and then deciding to wake up early or not sleep at all.
And don’t worry, she only cried for about 5 minutes before I got her. How could I say no to that face?
