The other day, I made Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie from Damn Delicious. I love this blog! Nearly everything I have made from this website has turned out well, and this was no exception.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures while I was cooking. I was too busy patting myself on the back for being so efficient, I guess. So I’m going to borrow this from the original blog post:

My version turned out exactly like the pictures from Damn Delicious, though. It only took about 20 minutes to prep, and that includes frequent stops to mediate squealing matches between 2 little ones. It was thick and creamy and not made from canned soup. I HATE canned soup, especially cream of whatever soups. And I’m a big fan of refrigerated biscuit dough. That’s one shortcut I do not mind. I have never been able to make biscuits better than Pillsbury.
